Blanche Goldleaf was second in a very strong yearling colt class, again this yearling colt behaved beautifully and I am delighted with his progress this year.

I had a very enjoyable day at S.C.W.P.& C.A. Summer Medal show , Enjoyed every minute of my task as steward for the Sec A ring with the very respected judge Francis Goggin, and then the Supreme of all sections with very large entries it was good to see so many people support the association show .Thank you David Sykes and the committee team for a great show finished by a wonderful spread of food for the judges and stewards in the marquee!!!!

Kate and Peter Deacon and there son Billy from the Halnaker Stud came to visit us today, they enjoyed seeing Churchwood President who’s Sire was one of Peters favorite Stallion’s Bartlett’s Elliot who they owned for many years, after a sunny afternoon looking at all the ponies we had tea and home made cake which Peter especially enjoyed!!

It was a pleasure to see Patricia Blake who came to visit Yaverland Delight and to see the foals, Patricia kindly gave us this mare when she retired the Lippens Stud 5 years ago and visits every year to see her beloved Delight.
Patricia had a wonderful morning looking at all the ponies, We were then invited back to Patricia’s for home made whisky fruit cake!!! everybody happy
